Rental Terms

Tingum Village Golf Cart Rental Agreement

By reserving a golf cart with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions regarding your rental:

• I agree that only persons who are 20 years or older possess a valid driver’s license shall be permitted to drive the golf cart. Regardless of any driving license that may be held from elsewhere, no person under the age of 20 may drive any vehicle in the Bahamas.
• The speed limit on Harbour Island is 15 MPH, you are required to abide by this speed limit
• I understand that a golf cart is subject to the same laws and regulations as any vehicle licensed for use on public roads in the Bahamas.
• Absolutely NO DRIVING ON BEACH OR SAND BANK. Doing so will result in loss of use of cart.
• Absolutely NO DRIVING leased equipment while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
• I agree to be legally and financially liable for all costs of repairs to the golf cart and for the loss, damage, down time, and/or injuries to my person or property and the persons or property of others regardless of fault or conditions involved. Liability, damage, and collision insurance is NOT available for golf carts in the Bahamas.
• Golf cart rentals are charged on a per day basis, charged for 24 hours at a time. For example, if you select 10am for your pick-up time, the cart is due back by 10am on the selected return date.
• By renting a golf cart from us, you agree to be bound by these terms for the duration of your rental period, which extends to the entire time that you have possession of the golf cart.

You may receive a waiver outlining the aforementioned terms by email or on arrival to Harbour Island for signature.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change, and unforeseen circumstances arise during travel. Our cancellation policy is designed to offer flexibility, and we encourage you to get in touch with us if you need further assistance or have any questions:

Your booking is subject to free cancellation up to 2 day before your reservation date, regardless of pick-up time (e.g. if you have reserved your cart for December 10th, you must cancel by December 7th at 11:59PM EST to avoid a cancellation fee).

Please note, if you have experienced extenuating circumstances beyond your control that resulted in your inability to notify us of cancellation in advance, please contact us. We may be able to return your cancellation fee, less any bank fees and / or the 3rd party online payment processor if applicable.
